Holy Quran verses about Praying to Great Allah

In The Name of Allah, The Beneficent, The Merciful

To Him is due the true prayer; and
those whom they pray to besides Allah give
them no answer, but (they are) like one who
stretches forth his two hands towards water
that it may reach his mouth, but it will not
reach it; and the prayer of the unbelievers is
only in error.

                  The  Holy Quran: Sura:13/ Ayah:14

And say: My Lord! make me to enter
a goodly entering, and cause me to go forth
a goodly going forth, and grant me from
near Your power to assist (me).

                       The Holy Quran: Sura:17/ Ayah:80

My Lord! surely I stand in need of whatever
good You may send down to me.

                            The Holy Quran: Sura:28/ Ayah:24

Our Lord! and make us both
submissive to You and (raise) from our
offspring a nation submitting to You, and
show us our ways of devotion and turn to us
(mercifully), surely You are the Off-returning
(to mercy), the Merciful.

                  Holy Quran: Sura:2/ Ayah:128

Our Lord! make not our hearts to
deviate after You has guided us aright, and
grant us from Your mercy; surely You are
the most liberal Giver.

               The  Holy Quran: Sura:3/ Ayah:8

My Lord! make me keep up prayer
and from my offspring (too), O our Lord, and
accept my prayer:

O our Lord! grant me protection and
my parents and the believers on the day
of reckoning.

            The  Holy Quran: Sura:14/ Ayahs:40-41

And those who come after them
say: Our Lord! forgive us and those of our
brethren who had precedence of us in faith,
and do not allow any spite to remain in our
hearts towards those who believe, our Lord!
surelyYou are Kind, Merciful.

                    The  Holy Quran: Sura:59/ Ayah:10

...Our Lord! grant us
mercy from Thee, and provide for us a right
course in our affair.

                The  Holy Quran: Sura:18/ Ayah:10

My Lord: Grant me wisdom, and join
me with the good

And ordain for me a goodly mention
among posterity

And make me of the heirs of the
garden of bliss

And disgrace me not on the day
when they are raised

The day on which property will not
avail, nor sons

Except him who comes to Allah with
a heart free (from evil).

                    The Holy Quran: Sura:26/ Ayahs:83...89

Most surely in the creation of the
heavens and the earth and the alternation of
the night and the day there are signs for men
who understand.

 Those who remember Allah standing
and sitting and lying on their sides and
reflect on the creation of the heavens and
the earth: Our Lord! You has not created
this in vain! Glory be to You; save us then
from the chastisement of the fire:

 Our Lord! surely whomsoever You
make enter the fire, him You has indeed
brought to disgrace, and there shall be no
helpers for the unjust:

Our Lord! surely we have heard a
preacher calling to the faith, saying: Believe
in your Lord, so we did believe; Our Lord!
forgive us therefore our faults, and cover
our evil deeds and make us die with the
righteous.

Our Lord! and grant us what You
hast promised us by Your apostles; and
disgrace us not on the day of resurrection;
surely You do not fail to perform the
promise.

So their Lord accepted their prayer:
That I will not waste the work of a worker
among you, whether male or female, the one
of you being from the other; they, therefore,
who fled and were turned out of their homes
and persecuted in My way and who fought
and were slain, I will most certainly cover
their evil deeds, and I will most certainly
make them enter gardens beneath which
rivers flow; a reward from Allah, and with
Allah is yet better reward.

                               The Holy Quran: Sura:3/ Ayahs:190...195
