Doubt (Rayb)

What Quran Says About Doubt?

(Rayb)

(This is) the Revelation of the Book in which there is no doubt,- from the Lord of the Worlds. [32:2]

This is the Book; in it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear Allah. [2:2]

And if ye are in doubt as to what We have revealed from time to time to Our servant, then produce a Sura like thereunto; and call your witnesses or helpers (If there are any) besides Allah, if your (doubts) are true. [2:23]

This Qur'an is not such as can be produced by other than Allah. on the contrary it is a confirmation of (revelations) that went before it, and a fuller explanation of the Book - wherein there is no doubt - from the Lord of the worlds. [10:37]

Thus have We sent by inspiration to thee an Arabic Qur'an: that thou mayest warn the Mother of Cities and all around her,- and warn (them) of the Day of Assembly, of which there is no doubt: (when) some will be in the Garden, and some in the Blazing Fire. [42:7]

Or do they say:- "A Poet! we await for him some calamity (hatched) by Time!" [52:30]

See they not that Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth, has power to create the like of them (anew)? Only He has decreed a term appointed, of which there is no doubt. But the unjust refuse (to receive it) except with ingratitude. [17:99]

But how (will they fare) when we gather them together against a day about which there is no doubt, and each soul will be paid out just what it has earned, without (favour or) injustice? [3:25]

The Hour will certainly come: Therein is no doubt: Yet most men believe not. [40:59]

And verily the Hour will come: there can be no doubt about it, or about (the fact) that Allah will raise up all who are in the graves. [22:7]

O mankind! if ye have a doubt about the Resurrection, (consider) that We created you out of dust, then out of sperm, then out of a leech-like clot, then out of a morsel of flesh, partly formed and partly unformed, in order that We may manifest (our power) to you; and We cause whom We will to rest in the wombs for an appointed term, then do We bring you out as babes, then (foster you) that ye may reach your age of full strength; and some of you are called to die, and some are sent back to the feeblest old age, so that they know nothing after having known (much), and (further), thou seest the earth barren and lifeless, but when We pour down rain on it, it is stirred (to life), it swells, and it puts forth every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs). [22:5]

Thus did We make their case known to the people, that they might know that the promise of Allah is true, and that there can be no doubt about the Hour of Judgment. Behold, they dispute among themselves as to their affair. (Some) said, "Construct a building over them": Their Lord knows best about them: those who prevailed over their affair said, "Let us surely build a place of worship over them." [18:21]

Say: "To whom belongeth all that is in the heavens and on earth?" Say: "To Allah. He hath inscribed for Himself (the rule of) Mercy. That He will gather you together for the Day of Judgment, there is no doubt whatever. It is they who have lost their own souls, that will not believe. [6:12]

"Our Lord! Thou art He that will gather mankind Together against a day about which there is no doubt; for Allah never fails in His promise." [3:9]

Allah, There is no god but He; of a surety He will gather you together against the Day of Judgment, about which there is no doubt. And whose word can be truer than Allah's? [4:87]

Say: "It is Allah Who gives you life, then gives you death; then He will gather you together for the Day of Judgment about which there is no doubt": But most men do not understand. [45:26]

"And when it was said that the promise of Allah was true, and that the Hour- there was no doubt about its (coming), ye used to say, 'We know not what is the hour: we only think it is an idea, and we have no firm assurance.'" [45:32]

Only those ask thee for exemption who believe not in Allah and the Last Day, and whose hearts are in doubt, so that they are tossed in their doubts to and fro. [9:45]

Fussilat (Explained in Detail) [41:3]

A Book, whereof the verses are explained in detail;-

a Qur'an in Arabic, for people who understand;

Al-Isra (The Journey by Night) [17:106]

(It is) a Qur'an which We have divided (into parts from time to time),

in order that thou mightest recite it to men at intervals:

We have revealed it by stages.

Al-Isra (The Journey by Night) [17:45]

When thou dost recite the Qur'an,

We put, between thee and those who believe not in the Hereafter, a veil invisible

Ar-Rum (The Romans) [30:58]

Verily We have propounded for men, in this Qur'an every kind of Parable:

But if thou bring to them any Sign, the Unbelievers are sure to say, "Ye do nothing but talk vanities."

An-Naml (The Ants) [27:84]

Until, when they come (before the Judgment-seat), ((Allah)) will say: "Did ye reject My Signs,

though ye comprehended them not in knowledge, or what was it ye did?"

Al-Jathiya (The Kneeling) [45:31]

But as to those who rejected Allah, (to them will be said):

"Were not Our Signs rehearsed to you?

But ye were arrogant, and were a people given to sin!
