The difference between the smart and the stupid is;
The idiots live`s for the past,
The smarts live`s for the future,
Now as human you have to think that you are facing the challenges of the future like
1-you will get broken, old, sick
2-your dead and pain, depression before it.
3-The time after dead and your existential after dead.(you can not demolish/disappear completely, it will always remain something from you like dust, ash,...)
Nobody can help you in these 3 cases, only you by help of your creater Great Allah.
Great Allah says in Quran 59:18-19.
﴿ يَاأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَلْتَنْظُرْ نَفْسٌ مَا قَدَّمَتْ لِغَدٍ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ(18)وَلَا تَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ نَسُوا اللَّهَ فَأَنْسَاهُمْ أَنْفُسَهُمْ أُوْلَئِكَ هُمْ الْفَاسِقُونَ
Believers, fear Allah and let every person look to what he sends forward for the tomorrow. Fear Allah; Allah is well aware of all that you do. (59:18) And be not like those who forgot Allah and so He made them oblivious of themselves. They are the wicked ones(59;19).
Great Allah Almighty in this verse draws our attention for the far future. Have you prepared the hour of far future death/after dead? Have you prepared the kit on the day your desires are broken, tomorrow when you are old, dead, almost dead. No action/reaction comes out from you anymore, no word can come out from your mouth, no one can help you, not doctors, not your wife/husband, nor your household, nor your children, not your commercial friends, not your travel expriences, not your outings, not your banquets, not your journeys friends.
The tournament for the intellegent is to prepare for the far tomorrow and live the far future, live the future and guide the mind for the fututre,
If the Past and present things(like Quran) is usefull for your present life which makes your far future(time of your weakness, depression, dead, after dead), take it, read it, practise it, llove it.
The past is gone and is in doubt/unbelievable.The past is like the picture you took last second and posted it on facebook. Now you are different person then that last second and different that picture, the picture is not you anymore, the picture is almost a cheating and doubt for you and the others.If you or others believe that you are still the same person as in Picture or the picture is usefull,
then you are living for the Pasts and you don`t belong to smarts.
A person who is in pain and can not sleep because of the pains on his teeth, if you remember him about the best food and the best memory of good foods you was eating with him, doese he like to listen to it? Now thoese all super things you have done in your life, like driving the super cars, beautiful men/women, nice journey's, best records, dancings, stupities,.. will be 100% a big bother for you when you get weak, old, badly sick, dead and after dead. So why you don`t stop it and try to live for the future, far future(weakness, dead, after dead). The only friend who can guide you through your journey for a easy/good far future(time of your weakness, dead, after dead) is Quran, submission to Great Allah.
Mayby you know this or not know this, the live you lived till now was full of stupidity, cheated or cheating yourself or others. liies, misguiding others, prostitutions, proundisses, shows, playings,... The only way to stop it truely and change it truely is Islam. Became Muslim or true Muslim if you wish/believe Allah, Quran and your existentials after dead.
